Borg Design, Inc. is seeking experienced CNC Machinists.

Qualified candidates will have the ability to work independently and machine quality parts in a timely manner. This position requires experience running CNC machining centers Milling or Lathe in a fast-paced job-shop environment. Must have experience with and ability to program CNC’s and set-up tooling, vices, and fixtures. Must possess CNC programming skills & be computer literate. CamWorks & SolidWorks experience a plus.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of machining experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings while working well with others.
  • Flexible with handling multiple projects at one time.
  • Responsible for quantity and quality of work performed during the working hours as well as the overall quality dimensionally and visually of the parts or services produced, modified or otherwise created.
  • Willingness to learn new programing and take on new tasks or projects.
  • Responsible for setting up machines to produce needed parts.
  • Ability to work unassisted and produce a part from a supplied customer drawing or description.
  • Responsible for programming machines if needed and/or modifying programs to make the parts as needed in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Produces the parts or task assigned in the best possible manner including production, setup, adjustments and deburring of parts.
  • Works closely with maintenance, machinists, operators and management to resolve problems.

Borg Design, Inc. is seeking CNC Operators.

Qualified candidates will have the ability to operate machines independently and machine quality parts in a timely manner. Duties will include loading, inspecting, changing tools, setting up work holding and operating CNC milling, and turning centers. Must be hardworking, able to learn our processes, motivated, and reliable. Excellent English reading and writing skills a must. No experience required, must have a willingness to learn.

Job Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn new programs and increase skill set.
  • Flexible with handling multiple projects at one time.
  • Responsible for quantity and quality of work performed during the working hours.
  • Produces the parts or task assigned in the best possible manner.
  • Works closely with the maintenance, machinists, operators and management to resolve problems.  Works with any employee needed to help resolve any issue that may arise.
  • Responsible for good housekeeping, cleanliness and safe working conditions in his departments.
  • Reports to operations manager any problem causing production downtime, rejected or damaged parts, along with recommendations for corrective action to be taken.
  • Seeks out new or extra work from the Operations Manager when opportunity permits.
  • Holds some work experience that’s shows candidate holds safe work habits and knows how to work in a shop environment.
  • Able to read, write and communicate effectively using English.

Borg Design, Inc. is hiring for Quality Inspector positions. Immediate hire!

Qualified candidates will be looking to gain experience with quality inspection, quality assurance, visual inspection and manufacturing. Hard-working, honest, detail-oriented and motivated people looking to learn and grow into a career are perfect for this role. Must be willing to learn ISO 9001, AS 9100, and the process of our Quality Control.

Job Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in Quality Control or Inspection.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to inspect using standard equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team setting, collaborate with others and highly motivated to work.
  • Understanding of ISO9001 and AS 9100 or willingness to be trained.
  • Assist with development of inspection policies, ideas and procedures to improve overall control quality and delivery.
  • Communication with company officials to plan business objectives and to develop organizational policies, specifically relating to quality and delivery.
  • Performs work and helps ensure company is following established corporate quality standards.
  • Responsible for overseeing and controlling first article inspection, final inspection and monitoring in process inspections of all parts.
  • Follows all company rules, regulations and policies.
  • Able to read, write and communicate effectively using English. Comprehend written instructions, job travelers and other company paperwork produced.
  • Additional duties assigned as needed.
